Key Responsibilities

• Own NSX-T design validation and migration execution.
• Lead network cutover activities during VCF migration waves.
• Work with Tier-0/Tier-1 gateways, logical switching, distributed routing and NSX Edge.
• Perform network pre-checks, post-cutover validation and rollback readiness.
• Monitor and troubleshoot NSX/network events during migration windows.
• Analyze network flow and bandwidth data.
• Document NSX topology, segments, gateways and connectivity mappings.
• Coordinate with Migration Engineers, Architects, customers and service providers.
• Support incident, change and escalation processes during critical cutovers.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with VMware NSX-T.
• Experience with NSX-V to NSX-T migration or similar network virtualization migrations.
• Knowledge of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF).
• NSX Segments, Transport Nodes, Transport Zones and Edge Nodes.
• Tier-0 / Tier-1 Gateway and distributed routing.
• Overlay / Underlay networking and Geneve.
• BGP, TCP/IP, VLAN, routing and switching.
