Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain efficient, test-driven Laravel applications
• Build secure and scalable RESTful APIs
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices
• Optimize database queries and application performance
• Integrate third-party APIs and services
• Write and maintain unit tests using PHPUnit/Pest
• Debug and resolve production issues
• Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement
• Own end-to-end delivery of assigned modules/features
• Collaborate with PMs, Designers, QA, and other teams
• Track tasks using project management tools

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of PHP, Laravel MVC, Eloquent & Artisan
• MySQL/PostgreSQL, SQL & query optimization
• REST APIs, Swagger & Postman
• Redis/SQS, Queues, Horizon & Supervisor
• PHPUnit/Pest and Git
• Microservices & event-driven systems (Kafka/RabbitMQ/SNS/SQS)
• HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript & jQuery
• Agile/Scrum/Kanban & JIRA/Trello
• AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude, Cursor, or similar
• Strong debugging, communication & problem-solving skills
• Ability to interact with clients and present demos
• AWS, DigitalOcean, Heroku or similar cloud platforms
• CI/CD – GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins
• Monitoring tools – Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry
